Paints and varnishes – Coating materials and coating systems for exterior masonry and concrete – Part 11: Methods of conditioning before testing. d. ASTM D 2244 – 16: Standard practice for calculation of color tolerances and color differences from instrumentally measured color coordinates. e. ISO 3668:2020. Paints and varnishes – Visual comparison of color of paints. 3 Test object Tests were executed on the specimens delivered by the Customer to CertiMaC laboratory on 04/06/2020 in the form of: - Laminated Glass specimens with dimensions equal to 10 x 10 cm; Each specimen consists of 25 squares (5 rows x 5 columns) with a different chroma. Each row differs for the color employed (white, black, yellow, magenta, cyan), while each column differs for the chromatic percentage used (100%, 50%, 30%, 15%, 0%). For each type of product, 1 specimen was maintained “as it is” and used as reference, while 1 specimen was conditioned to 1000h of UV radiation, following the procedure described at Ref. 2-c. In this way, it was possible to perform the colorimetric measures and the evaluation of the chromatic variation between the conditioned specimen and the reference specimen. “Type 3” and “Type 4” reference specimens are shown in Figure 1.
