At the end of the test, the item was inspected at a distance between 30 cm and 50 cm in front of a white diffuse background in order to check for possible faults occurring in the interlayer (bubbles, delamination, cloudiness), as requested by clause 7.5.1 of standard UNI EN ISO 12543-4. Determination of light transmittance The spectrophotometer was used to determine normal/hemispherical spectral transmittance in the visible range (380-780 nm). Light transmittance “τv” for standard illuminant D65 was measured before and after the radiation test in accordance with the procedure described in standard UNI EN 410 and using the spectral distribution set out under table 1 therein. In accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 12543-4 the deviation from the initial measurement as a percentage was determined (≡ 100·(τi-τf)/τi). Colour measurement0} Colour measurement before and after radiation testing was performed using the portable spectrophotometer complete with illuminant D65. The test was carried out using 10° observer and in accordance with CIE 1976 L*a*b* colour space as specified in standard UNI EN ISO/CIE 11664-4.
