Lightness variation (ΔL vis ) of the conditioned specimen with respect to the reference specimen – Type 4. 5 Conclusions The analysis was performed in order to evaluate the chromatic variation of 2 types of laminated glass after 1000 hours of UV conditioning. The analysis, performed through colorimeter, highlighted as the total chro- matic variation according to the CIELAB formula, results between 1 and 3 for all the colors (100%), except for the white (Type 3). The range [1;3] is usually the limit of visual perception of the chromatic variation. Only the White color (100%) of “Type 3” product showed a variation higher than this range. From the visual analysis of the specimens, only slight chromatic variations (barely noticeable) were observed (rating equal to 1) both in term of chromia, lightness and hue. Regarding the hue, a slight yellowing of some cells was observed.
