E quando si è circondati da arte, storia, architettura, allora si può portare il proprio spirito creativo oltre ogni limite, e trasformare tutto questo in una fonte inesauribile di autentica ispirazione. Un’immersione nella bellezza criptica e intrigante che deriva dalla genialità artistica, è l’origine del nostro viaggio, una narrazione densa di suggestioni e stupore partendo da Ravenna, città in cui l’azienda è stata fondata, che per secoli fu il centro nevralgico della storia italiana ed europea, occidentale ed orientale. Da qui prende impulso il nostro percorso inventivo e di ricerca, alla scoperta di importanti opere, spaziando da Leonardo fino a Balla, un “Grand Tour” illuminante che ci ha guidato nella realizzazione dei nostri gioielli. Oggetti inimitabili, dove il micromosaico, elemento distintivo e motivo di studi profondi, insieme alle pietre e l’oro diventano le materie con cui trasformare stilismi, forme, prospettive, spirali di colori, in piccole opere di gioielleria, realmente uniche. Un cammino che attraversa il tempo oltre che lo spazio, un viaggio che copre dall’Occidente all’Oriente, un passaggio di luce nella storia fino alla contemporaneità. From here our inventive and research path takes its impetus, to the discovery of important works, ranging from Leonardo to Balla, an illuminating ‘Grand Tour’ that guided us in the creation of our jewels, inimitable objects, where the micromosaic, a distinctive element and the motif of in-depth studies, together with stones and gold become the materials with which to transform shapes, perspectives, spirals of colors, into small truly unique works of jewelry. A journey that crosses time as well as space, a journey that covers from the West to the East, a passage of light through history to the present. Il mondo di Sicis Jewels è una sorta di laboratorio magico dove avvengono alchimie di antica sapienza, un mondo fatto di fragile eleganza, effimera come un sogno, eppure vera, autorevole e pura e ci conduce in una dimensione irreale perché lontana da ogni mediazione, da ogni presupposto che, per quanto prezioso, appartiene già a quanto prima visto. I gioielli che presenteremo in queste pagine sono ognuno lavoro di estro artistico e di un’arte sconosciuta, di eredità antica. Vi condurremo in un viaggio affascinante alla scoperta del micromosaico, per far comprendere come è nata la capacità di plasmare miniature fatte di minuscole schegge di materie pure, minerali e oro. Dentro i laboratori ravennati i maestri mosaicisti si sono reimpossessati di quella geniale tecnica, ma in modo del tutto personale, esclusivo e inedito, trasmettendo emozioni autentiche in oggetti contemporanei, grazie anche a processi innovativi e brevetti di Sicis Jewels. E a quei “già gioielli” si sono aggiunte le pietre preziose. Agli artisti del mosaico si sono così affiancati i maestri orafi per porre luce sulla luce. Un arcobaleno di idee colorate, nato da inventiva e ricerca, che l’occhio segue rapito nel disegno che si schiude. Cromie che si spengono e si ricompongono: ordine matematico perfetto e guizzo di poesia. The jewels that we will present in these pages are each work of artistic flair and of an unknown art, of ancient heritage. We will take you on a fascinating journey to discover micromosaic, to make people understand how the ability to shape miniatures made of tiny splinters of pure materials, minerals and gold was born. Inside the Ravenna workshops, the mosaic masters have re-possessed that brilliant technique, but in a completely personal, exclusive and unprecedented way, transmitting authentic emotions in contemporary objects, thanks also to innovative processes and Sicis Jewels patents. And precious stones have been added. The master goldsmiths joined the mosaic artists to shed light on the light. A rainbow of colorful ideas, born of inventiveness and research, which the eye follows enthralled in the unfolding design.
